Satisfied residents, families, and friends agree, Arbor Terrace at Crabapple has made a difference! Hear for yourself why you should call Arbor Terrace at Crabapple your new home.
Nisha Patel joined Arbor Terrace Crabapple in June of 2009 at the encouragement of her sister-in-law, Mona. Nisha’s prior college degree did not prepare her for working in the United States. Thus, when Nisha first came to the Crabapple Community the only position available was that of house keeper. Nisha accepted the position without hesitation and with a smile on her face. That smile has never left her face. She has “First Impressions” in the bag. She connects with every resident and goes out of her way to meet their needs regardless of whether it is in her scope of duty or not. As much as Nisha loved her job, the people and co-workers, she continued to yearn for more. Nisha wanted to be more involved with our residents and when she learned that we only hire Certified Nursing Assistants, she set her cap and away she went. Working full time, caring for her son and husband, Nisha added going to school to her very busy schedule. After her graduation she wanted to work in as a Resident Assistant. Richard Brodrick, our Maintenance Director came forward and said, “Give her a job!” We did and have been so much better for it! Nisha is the Star of our Evergreen RA staff. Her accomplishments of PPA, redirection, love, caring and compassion are evident to all.
"It has been our pleasure to work with the various Arbor Terrace facilities of the greater Atlanta area since 2004. Our Arbor partners have shown great enthusiasm for expanding their employees' knowledge base as well outreaching to residents and their families. We have found the relationship with Arbor to be quite fruitful: the CHA gains an opportunity to train committed health professionals and to interact directly in a friendly setting with the aging community, while the Arbor staff benefits from high-quality education delivered from university-based, top ranked geriatricians and gerontologists. THe Emory Center for Health in Aging is committed to promoting healthy aging and to providing quality education to community members in our region. Our strong partnership with the Arbor Terrace facilities in the Atlanta area has afforded us many valuable opportunities to help fulfill this commitment."

"We moved our mother into the Evergreen (memory care) neighborhood at Arbor Terrace from another local community. She is a new person, much happier, and all of our stress levels have dropped dramatically."

"For the past year and a half, I have worked a part time job that has afforded me an education outside of school. My summer job that turned into a permanent job has taught me responsibility, efficiency, organization and most importantly, respect."
