Joined Arbor Terrace in 2009 "During my 40 plus years as a LPN, I have most enjoyed my time working with seniors. I worked at a continuing care retirement community in Ohio for over 20 years, as the assistant administrator. In 2003, I moved to Georgia and worked as a nurse for a geriatric physician. I first began working with the Arbor Company in 2005 as a Resident Care Director. Since, I have worked in several other Arbor communities and have finally found a home at Crabapple. Our residents and families bring a smile to my face each day."

Joined Arbor Terrace in 2009  "After receiving my Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, I chose to stay home to raise my family.  As Arbor Terrace Crabapple was being built, my heart was drawn to the community.  I felt a strong sense of belonging and consequently began a new career here at Arbor Terrace, working with our seniors in Resident Relations.  As the Senior Care Counselor, I have the pleasure of interacting with our residents and their families every day.  This is my home away from home, and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else!"

Joined Arbor Terrace in 2013.  “After a decade as an elementary school teacher and then a stay at home mom, I stumbled into a part time position as an Engagement Assistant.  I am so thankful that I decided to ‘get out of the house’ a few days a week!  I discovered a new career that I’m intensely passionate about.  In 2014, I moved into the role of Engagement Director.  Striving each day to make a deep connection with our residents and enrich their lives has energized me in a way I never imagined!  Seniors have lead such meaningful, interesting lives. I believe there is so much we can learn from them and so many ways to celebrate their uniqueness.   I feel like each of our residents is a member of my family and hardly feel like I’m ‘working’ at all!  I’m so glad to be part of the Arbor Team!”

Joined Arbor Terrace in 2014.
After 10 years in the Insurance Industry, I decided to make a career change.  I wanted to do something that would be personally fulfilling and afford me more time at home with my family. I have been a Business Office Manager in the Senior Living since 2009, and I have loved every minute of it. Because I was raised by my great-grandmother, I have a particular soft spot for seniors. It gives me great joy to be of service to them, and also to learn from the.

"As a teenager, I developed a passion for cooking after getting a part-time job at my neighbor's restaurant.  I attended the Culinary Art School of America in New York, and have been working in the field of senior living for close to 27 years.  When I moved to Georgia, I quickly learned that there are another whole set of skills involved in southern cookin'!  I especially enjoy taking old family recipes of residents and bringing them back to life. Since working at Crabapple starting in 2010, I am proud of the team of chefs that prepare the meals for our residents on a daily basis.  Our ultimate goal is t provide the highest quality dining experience of taste, presentation and ambience for all to enjoy".
