Joined The Arbor Company in 2004, Arbor Terrace in 2008 "I was reared in the south by loving parents and a marvelous extended family. My caretaking nature came easily and I chose to complete my nursing degree at the Medical College of Georgia and a Master's in Healthcare Education at Georgia State. My pride and joys are my wonderful family, marvelous grandchildren and the opportunity to work with a generation of individuals whom I have always admired."

Joined Arbor Terrace in 2008 "With a B.A. in Psychology and a M.Ed. in Counseling, I have the opportunity to take theory and apply it to the whole person in the real world. I have so much fun helping residents fulfill their dreams, ambitions and goals. I enjoy collaborating with residents in every aspect of our activities program, from creative craft projects and classic movie nights, to activities such as our CyberSeniors email program and Dakim's Brain Fitness. Spending time with our residents, whether in the community or on field trips, makes my day."

Joined Arbor Terrace in 2008.  "My background is in science and the medical device industry. After participating in the Pet Visitation Ministry through church, I knew my direction was soon to change. The experience of being with Seniors and helping to meet their needs in a small way ignited a passion to do more. I have been with the Arbor Crabapple community from its opening and find fulfillment in helping families transition their loved ones to this wonderful, caring, engaged living environment. It’s a great place to call home!"

Joined The Arbor Company in 2005, Arbor Terrace in 2008 "I have had the privilege of working with Arbor Terrace seniors and their families for the past three years, and I have seen firsthand the positive quality of life seniors enjoy in our communities. Helping seniors and their families make informed decisions about senior living options, while offering solutions to many of the social, financial, and health related factors that impact seniors is extremely rewarding. To be able to continue that positive relationship with our residents and their families after they move in is icing on the cake."

Joined Arbor Terrace in 2009 "During my 40 plus years as a LPN, I have most enjoyed my time working with seniors. I worked at a continuing care retirement community in Ohio for over 20 years, as the assistant administrator. In 2003, I moved to Georgia and worked as a nurse for a geriatric physician. I first began working with the Arbor Company in 2005 as a Resident Care Director. Since, I have worked in several other Arbor communities and have finally found a home at Crabapple. Our residents and families bring a smile to my face each day."

Joined Arbor Terrace in 2003.  “I became a member of the Arbor Company in 2003 as a resident assistant, and immediately knew my passion was to work with our senior community. While at Arbor Terrace Crabapple, I continued my education and became a Licensed Practical Nurse, as well as the Assistant Resident Care Director. As the Assistant Resident Care Director in charge of our memory care area, I embrace the individuality of our Evergreen residents and enjoy all aspects of engagement with residents, family, and friends.”

Joined Arbor Terrace in 2009  "After receiving my Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, I chose to stay home to raise my family.  As Arbor Terrace Crabapple was being built, my heart was drawn to the community.  I felt a strong sense of belonging and consequently began a new career here at Arbor Terrace, working with our seniors in Resident Relations.  As the Director of Resident Relations, I have the pleasure of interacting with our residents and their families every day.  This is my home away from home, and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else!"

My passion in life is problem solving and to help fulfill the needs of others. I am very blessed to be working for such a great organization and the feel of "family" from the residents and coworkers."

Joined The Arbor Company in 2004, Arbor Terrace in 2009 "I joined the Arbor family in 2004 when my family and I moved from California. My wife of 17 years, Anita, and I have three sons; Tim (Tito), who resides here in GA, Omar, in San Francisco & Gilbert, who lives in Maui, HI. I enjoy cooking, playing tennis, and playing with our six dogs. I enjoy my work with Arbor Terrace and especially enjoy going above and beyond to assist our residents and my coworkers."
